Common Pricing Questions

Answers to what facilities and providers most often ask before signing on.

Yes. NEMA NETWORK signs a BAA with every facility customer before onboarding begins. PHI transmitted through the platform is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access is role-restricted and fully audit-logged. We are designed for HIPAA-regulated environments.
No. NEMA NETWORK charges no subscription fees for facilities or providers. Facilities pay only for completed trips. Providers earn their standard base payout automatically on every trip, plus bonus payout if their performance grade has earned it — there's nothing separate to negotiate or deduct.
Facilities are not charged for trips that are not completed. If a provider no-shows, the trip is flagged, the provider's tier ranking is impacted, and there is no charge to the facility. Providers are also not paid for incomplete trips.
Rates are agreed individually during onboarding, based on your facility's transport mix (ambulatory, wheelchair, stretcher), expected monthly volume, and geographic market. All rates are disclosed and locked in upfront — there are no surprise adjustments mid-contract.
You receive a single monthly invoice at the end of each billing cycle. The invoice is itemized by trip — showing date, transport type, and rate per ride — totaled into one ACH payment. Invoice history is available in your facility dashboard.
Every provider starts at the B- entry tier, already earning a +2.5% bonus on top of the standard base payout. As you complete trips, earn positive ride reviews, and maintain low cancellation and no-show rates, your grade moves up — increasing your bonus payout (up to +5% at our top tier) and giving you first access to new trip requests in your area. Grades are recalculated on a rolling 6-month basis.
Provider payouts are processed weekly via direct deposit. Each week, all completed trips are bundled into a single payout statement — giving you a clear record of every trip, the rate earned, and the total deposited. No Net-30, no chasing invoices.
No. The per-trip rate for facilities and the standard base payout for providers are both disclosed upfront and don't change without explicit agreement. NEMA NETWORK does not charge setup fees, credentialing fees, documentation fees, or exit fees.
No minimum commitment is required. Facilities are welcome to use NEMA NETWORK for overflow trips only, for specific transport types, or as their primary dispatch channel — whatever works for their census. There is no penalty for lower-volume months.
